Sanded (standard): Our wooden floors are standard sanded, which ensures a beautifully smooth finish.
Brushed: By brushing the wood, we bring out the grain structure even more. Light brushing creates a subtle texture, whilst heavier brushing gives the floor a more pronounced texture.
Sawn marks: In the saw marks process, the planks are cut with a saw; the saw marks create a rough surface and give the planks a unique appearance.
Planed: Machine planing of the wooden floor highlights the grain structure and knots. Planing also allows more oil to be absorbed into the floor around the knots.
Hand-planed: Hand-planing the floor achieves the same effect as machine-planing. However, the result is slightly more robust.
Aged: As the floor ages, it develops dents and indentations, giving it a weathered look.
Smoked: Smoking the wooden planks deepens the tone and gives the colour a brownish-grey hue. The longer and more intensely the oak is smoked, the deeper the colour becomes.
Core-smoked: In this process, the top layer of oak is smoked right through, giving the wood a deep brown, almost black colour.
Stained: Stain gives the floor a specific base colour. When combined with coloured oil, we can create more intense colours.
Burnt: Burning gives the floor a dark brown to black colour. When combined with coloured oil, this gives the floor a unique look.

Oiled: Oiling provides the wooden floor with a protective layer whilst allowing the wood to retain its natural appearance. The oil enhances the colour and texture of the wood, whilst also making the floor water- and dirt-repellent.
Varnished: Varnishing provides long-lasting protection against water and dirt. It also makes the wooden floor easier to clean. Our varnishes are available in ultra-matt, matt and gloss finishes.

With both finishes, you have the option of adding a colour tint. This allows you to match the wooden floor perfectly to your interior.
We believe a healthy living environment is very important, which is why our oils are VOC-free and water-based.
