For a beautiful villa in South Africa we have produced a 3-layer solid Cinzento Custom Made® oak floor. The large size (300 mm width) of this collection is well suited for the large open spaces of this house. The solid oak planks can be supplied up to 3 meters long. Because the floor is brown oiled, this gives a natural look in combination with the interior.
These planks provide a unique stability due to the fact that it is a 3-layer solid floor. The product has a unique structure consisting of a 5 mm oak top layer, a 10 mm oak middle layer and a 5 mm oak under layer, resulting in a unique stability.
Underfloor heating
A wooden floor in combination with underfloor heating is a perfect combination. When you glue wood (parquet) directly to a floor with underfloor heating, this combination provides a very comfortable and energy-saving form of heating. The wooden floors of Cinzento consist mainly of oak. Oak is suited for underfloor heating. Not all wood species are necessarily suitable for laying on underfloor heating. This project also complies with the FSC® quality mark.
