How to maintain a varnished wooden floor?
Cleaning
We recommend to dry-clean your Cinzento Custom Made® floor regularly (vacuuming, swiffer, etc.) and to damp-clean at the most once every two weeks. We do not recommend daily cleaning with soap and water.
To clean the floor, use a maximum of 2 caps of Saicos Wash Care to 5 litres of water. If too much is used, a soft layer will form on the floor which will absorb even more dirt. So do not use more than the recommended dose/frequency.

In the first two weeks only dry-clean the newly varnished floor.

Use as little water as possible and certainly do not let any water remain on the wooden floor.

If necessary: dry the surface with a lint-free cloth.

Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Also avoid using other chemicals, such as chlorine and white spirit. If such substances come into contact with the floor, it may damage the varnish layer of the floor.
Maintenance
To keep varnished floors in optimal condition, a treatment with Saicos Refresher is needed from time to time. How often this is needed depends on the intensity of use of the floor. However, we recommend treating it at least once every 6 months. Saicos Refresher makes the surface of the floor dirt-repellent and resistant to frequent use.

First, clean the surface thoroughly with a mixture of water and Saicos Wash Care.

Mix Saicos Refresher at 1:10 ratio with water in a bucket, meaning a maximum of 0.5 litres of Saicos Refresher with 5 litres of water. Do not use more to prevent the floor from becoming sticky.

Spread the water with Saicos Refresher well over the floor with a damp mop, for optimal results mop in one direction. You can use the mop from the Saicos Wash Care Set for this purpose.
For intensive cleaning of the varnished wooden floor, Saicos Magic Cleaner can be used. This is available at your nearest Cinzento dealer and/or parquet specialist.
